So it's very hard to find great Dominican food in south Florida .. I've come across a couple places that I won't even mention.. Ive been to Yarumba twice .. First time was with family to eat. I had the grilled chicken breast with rice and beans ! Amazing !! The second time I went was after the Romeo Santos concert, Saturday night. I ordered the picadera /beers .. Music is loud and the crowd was having fun. Great night

Returned with co-workers because we needed to eat and return to work in 45-50 minutes. The service was much better. My meal was good, except for a few extra hard pieces of plantain in mofongo. My colleagues enjoyed their daily specials and off the menu entrees of stewed beef, stewed chicken and salmon. Overall it was a very good experience and I took a minute to walk to the kitchen window and think the chef and his staff. More work lunches are in our future at Yarumba. PS - Love their red beans!

This place deserves a 5 all the way, it's a really nice place amazing food and very reasonable price for the quality of food, I really hope they stay in business forever!

The food is very good, the Mofongo is like no other, it's full of flavor. The customer service is excellent and the atmosphere is also. I must say it is the best I've tasted.

High end Dominican food done right. That's the best way to describe the flavorful dishes here. The service is on point and the appetizers are delivered in more or less an agreeable time without compromising the quality. The locale is a bit hidden, but it can be seen from the Palmetto. Definitely give this place a try!

I went with my sister and I did not get a change to take a picture of the mangu dominicano. because it was so delicious it was gone. Wow Thank you for a great experience.

Delivery takes 2 hours - on 4 different occasions. On one - they just never showed up. I had the nerve to ask for a discount after my 2-hour wait and they said no - no discounts. WTF.

Been here a few times, Service not good at all, disorganized, they dont care about the costumer, first time i told the waitress that i will leave the tip cash he told me that they couldn't remove the tip from the bill, they charge 15% regardless of the service you will pay it, When a restaurant charge you 15% for service they should let you know in the menu or other way. Last time here i ordered a Sancocho dominicano tasteless, and meat taste like old or rotten i told the waitress i didn't like it and ordered another plate, they charge me the frking soup, i paid for it, but you will not see me again, some food is good and i won't deny it, BUT TOTALLY OVERPRICED, for that money i can eat a great dinner in a fancy place. For me is a No No No!! This is my personal experience!

Excellent service, always with a smile. Great tropical flavors. Must taste the Mofongo and the "Chivo."

Food was very average. Group of 5, we had sancocho, longaniza, mofongo, yuca empanadas and 2 daily specials, dessert and coffee. Third time visiting this place. Mofongo: I ordered half "yuca" and Half "platano" and they mixed it. The result was very good. Sancocho and daily specials were so so. Longaniza tasted and smelled kind of weird so we did not eat much of it. Most of the plates were served lukewarm, not hot. Service is friendly but disorganized. Slow.

An amazing meal at more than reasonable prices. I work nearby and there aren't too many options for lunch...no need...I would go to yarumba daily!!! It's that good. Their daily lunch specials are nicely priced and the taste of the food is even better. Best reed beans I've had in MY LIFE!!! Their beef stew is juicy and tender, their vegetables and other ingredients FRESH, and the presentation is beautiful. Highly, HIGHLY recommend it. Enjoy!

We loved it the monfongos were out of the world...If you know a better place please let me know... We were there and someone was having a birthday party at 8:00 PM the music was just getting to loud for us but I know how the Dominicans and they want to party loud which is fine with me. Its a little pricey but I would come back..

Food is consistently delicious! Everything on the menu is sure enough to fill you up. Their plates are very flavorful. Great variety of natural juices. This place has been improving from when they opened. Nice clean bathrooms. The service is good depending on your server but I believe this will improve with time. Overall this is a great restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And a great place to Latin dance (I heard).

Well let's see how I start this new review. Place has a faint beer smell. Like an old bar but is very clean. Very quick to their fit to sit you down and amazing service! Now, menu so far scares me because the food is very pricey to be Dominican food. I just order empanadas beef and cheese. The beef empanadas gets a b+. It's good but the price factor does not make that excellent. Meaning is good but not excellent and to charge that much money for empanada it should be excellent. Now the cheese empanada is made of American cheese!! That's embarrassing!! It should never be yellow cheese therefore I give it a F- Now I ordered a "Quipe" and it a gets A++. Excellent and crunchy and fresh!! Sauce spicy and but very good and juicy. Main dishes. We ordered ceviche or marisco salad. It tastes like rubber ; Blend and boring and I give it a F- !!! We also ordered chicharron de pollo without bones which a gets a solid B. Now Chivo was good and I give it a B-. The only reason is a B and not a C is the service. Staff was very good and the Cuban lady Mary was very attentive. If you want to eat Dominican food there are other tastier a places in Miami and definitely cheaper. Now to make matters worse the tip is included in the bill. I don't like when a restaurant does not give me the option to rate them through tip.

Nice looking place, clean, modern latin look with a nice bar in the center. The stewed goat, which is what i was looking for, was excellent! Tender, juicy, perfectly spiced, and accompanied by nice plantains and rice and peas (moros). Since i ordered takeout i sat at the bar and ordered a Dominican rum while I waited. Here is the problem! The bar staff, four employees, ignored me and continued cleaning, prepping and talking among themselves until For almost 10 min until I had to get loud and ask if there was any service at the bar! Finally a clueless girl took my order and proceeded to do other stuff before bringing me my rum (nice pour, though!)- conclusion: good moderate priced food, but bad service in nice looking place.

Their food is BEYOND amazing!! I loved their Mofongo with Churrasco so much. The meat was so tender and juicy. The waitress (I think her name was Sandra) was awesome and friendly and helped with anything we needed. The staff was very attentive and nice. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for Dominican food at a very reasonable price :D

In love with this place from their food to their setting. Came here today-mid afternoon, & I had their famous Mangu which brings boiled & smashed plantains, eggs, purple onions, fried cheese, avocado, & salami! Soo good! Setting: Very modern, dark but soothing. You can bring groups, families, friends. It gets pretty packed a night. Also they have an big open bar Service: the waitresses are so attending & kind. They're always checking up on me to see if everything is okay if I need or want something else. They never fail to bring a smile to me or my tummy when I come here. This place is a MUST

Lovely atmosphere and excellent customer service with reasonable prices. There's a lot to choose from the menu but "Pechugas rellenas" was my fav plate.. And the quipes are delicious and crispy. The 'mofongo' and 'bistec' my family order were just okay, nothing special.

Best Pernil I have had in a very long time. The lunch special of Pernil, white rice and beans was a good portion for a great price. Food was cooked to perfection and served promptly even with the lunch rush. Staff was great. Bookmarked the restaurant and will be a regular visit for me when I come to OPF.

Excellent service and delicious Dominican food. I had the salmofongo and it was AMAZING. Try the chocolate brownie with ice cream on top for dessert I promise it's made by Jesus himself. The jugo de chinola is delicious as well. If you're up for dancing and a great time go on a Sunday night. Great vibes and lots of parking space as well.
